What you will learn
What is a mason jar breakfast?
A mason jar breakfast is any type of breakfast that can be made in a mason jar the night before or in the morning and enjoyed at room temperature. You don’t have to heat up your food or cook anything, which makes it perfect for mornings where you’re running late!
Why is breakfast important?
Breakfast is important because it’s the first meal of your day. It provides us with energy, helps regulate our blood sugar levels, and starts to lessen hunger pains as we wait for lunchtime to arrive.
A study done in the journal Appetite found that people who ate breakfast every day gained less weight over the course of a 16 year period than those who skipped their morning meal.
