  • Use good body mechanics. Use proper lifting techniques. It means using the leg muscles, and not the back muscles when you do workouts.
  • Use good tactics when sitting at your computer at home or work.  Utilize a lumbar cushion or a cushion to help you sit straight and not hunched.
  • Warm up your body before a workout! You have to stretch before exercising or other physical activities.
  • Get Moving! Yes, correct get it done. Exercise is the single most vital thing you can do to keep your body healthy. Also, specific stretches can retrain muscles that support the overall body.

What should you avoid?

Remember- you should avoid certain things.

  • Never sleep the wrong way!  Don’t sleep on your couch or sofa chair.  Your body needs a neutral position to rest properly.
  • No more waste! Say NO to white flour, sugar, and salt. Avoid processed foods that lack nutrients.
  • Use repetitive rotation activities. Moving the feet to turn the body and a tight core is so essential and keeps you moving in daily tasks in your life.
  • Tackle it! Ice is a better choice for pain. So you can deal with injuries quickly.
  • Don’t hold children on your hip, it can damage your back. Rather carry them in front of your body if you must. Don’t wear your heavy purse on one shoulder.
